House Painting

After many months of agonizing over what to paint our house we finally decided on a color and then had instant remorse as soon as it went up (I actually cried). The painter told us to be patient, that things would change considerably once the trim went on and the white house peeking out underneath went away. Thank goodness he was right. With trim, door color and coach lights, it really came together. The final verdict is: we don't hate it anymore, in fact we think we like it. We both agree, that it is not what we thought it was going to be, but that it will grow on us and it is just an extreme change. It's so nice to come home to a new house feeling without having to buy one and there is a definite satisfaction in finally giving the house a much needed facelift.
