Sharp Dresser

This is what happens when you let a 2 and a half year old dress himself. He started out with the shorts and I went to pull out the cute matching Nike shirt. He said - "No mommy I don't want to wear that!" I retorted with, "but it matches." Which means absolutely nothing to a 2 year old or a boy for that matter. So I proceeded to pull out several other shirts from the same color family that could count as matching and yet still met with my approval. He nixed all of them, finally deciding on this non-matching polo that he typically would wear to church (mind you he was just going to run errands with me). Next came the hat. As adorable as it is, it is a foam visor from the zoo, with a giant frog on it......again not matching. Last came the shoes which while they did match the shorts a little, he knows how much I hate those "Cars" shoes and wore them just to spite me. I must be getting less uptight as I get older, because I actually took him out wearing this combination.....sometimes changing his mind is just so much more work than giving in!!
