Halloween

Miles had a great time "trick or treating". He tried to go "in" the first few houses but after that he got the hang of it. He got a lot of candy and managed to eat some of it along the way. The lollipops were his favorite.

One of our neighbor's churches redid an old ambulance to look like the Ghostbusters Mobile from the movie. The guys were all dressed up and passed out candy when they arrived. It was nice to find out there were so many kids in our neighborhood. It was a beautiful night with a gorgeous sunset. It was the first time in 10 years that I had been outside on Halloween wearing shorts.

We went to about 25 houses and stayed out until the mosquitoes started biting. Then we went back inside for cupcakes and so Miles could check out his loot. His Auntie Kristina, Uncle Bryan and Nana all came along to watch Miles go door to door. He never managed to say "trick or treat", but did say "thank you" and "bye bye" to almost everyone. I'm sure it will only get better as the years go on. Now what to do with all the candy he can't eat........hmmmmm?
