Egg Hunt

Our neighbors decided it would be fun for all the kids to do a neighborhood easter egg hunt. Everyone who wanted to participate, hid eggs in their yard filled with prizes or candy and all the kids went as a group from yard to yard hunting for the eggs. They all met in our cul-de-sac at noon and took about a half hour to make it to the other side of the neighborhood for donuts and juice. Miles had such a good time. He was just old enough this year to want to find the eggs and have fun, but not old enough to understand the concept of "free-for-all" so most of the 2 years olds didn't make out quite as good as the older kids, but once the older ones were loaded down, they were generous with their prizes.

The first picture is Miles riding his tricycle that Auntie Steff bought him for Christmas. He is finally tall enough to reach the pedals and after learning last week to ride a neighbors trike, he realized he could ride his own. Today was the first day he really rode it around the street and he gets so proud to be able to do it all by himself.

His favorite part was all the CANDY!!
