Soccer Days

Miles started playing soccer this spring and it will carry on through the end of June. He's never played or even watched the sport before, so our expectations were low as were most of the parents on the 3 year old teams. He's gotten much better as the games have gone on and although he's not the best on the team, he's not the worst. He does manage to score a goal or two every match and he is starting to get disappointed if he doesn't get the ball for a while. His team has two very good boys that have played before and Miles' team, the "grey" team, is considerably better than every team we've played so far just because of these two boys alone. Here are some pics from one of his games:

This is pretty much what Miles does when he's not chasing the ball/paying attention, that and ripping grass out of the ground and throwing it in the air.

Miles misses a goal......

......and gets excited!

Miles is number "8"

Miles scores!!!!!

Don't quite know where the muscle arms came from. I think Chris did it once and now everytime Miles scores he assumes this position. Definitely cracks up everyone watching.

Easter 2009

It has taken me forever to post Easter pics, but here they are finally. We have been so busy, I almost forgot, and I am rarely on the computer anymore. These are in reverse order from after the egg hunt to the beginning, but it was to hard to switch them all around.

Easter Bunny brought some cool Hulk shoes

Is it a bubble wand or a pirate sword, only a boy would know

So much candy, so little time

Miles loves marshmallow bunnies

Grandmas and kids

Whatcha got?

Emmy couldn't find her basket, so she figured Miles' was good enough

Easter Bunny Visits Miles School

The Easter Bunny came to St. Thomas Aquinas, Miles' preschool. Mr. Bunny took time to take pictures with each kid and then they had an ice cream party. Miles was very excited for the Easter Bunny visit.
