Avery's One Month Birthday
When Miles turned one month old Chris went to Pottery Barn Kids and got him his first birthday present, a green stuffed frog. To keep with tradition, we went down to Hyde Park in Tampa and got Avery her first present, a stuffed dog.

As happy as he appears, I got called into school this day because Miles didn't want his picture taken. They thought maybe he would go in with me. So I packed up the baby and headed to his school. By the time I got there, the kids were just coming in from the playground. Miles hair was soaked with sweat and his face was beet red from the 90 degree heat. So I reached in his back pack and threw on his hat and spent the next 6 kid's turns fanning Miles face with the info brochure hoping to cool him off or get rid of some of the redness so he could have the photo taken. Of course the picture went off w/out a hitch and I spent the last 30 minutes of Miles' school day sitting in the courtyard with a hungry crying baby......good times!
