Avery's first birthday party was at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatics Center. They have a couple of beautiful pools and we put our money on good weather, which finally worked in our favor. We had a lunch inside with cupcakes for "Happy Birthday" and then headed outside with all of the other families for swimming. Avery had a great day, even though she hardly smiled for a single picture. Miles used to work the crowd with a great big smile. Avery's approach is much different as is seen in these pictures (at least she didn't cry):
